Siemens Medical Systems - ACOM.PC 1.0

A program designed to run under Windows 95 to provide dynamic playback of medical image data. It supports the DICOM standard for reading medical studies on a variety of medical CDs. A sample study playback would look like this QT movie of an angiography study.

Note that this movie shows a radioactive dye tracing the arteries of a patient's heart. These images allow doctors to determine which arteries are blocked by the colesterol from the potato chips we so readily eat.

Siemens Medical Systems - ACOM.PC 1.5

This version added a networked volume in which data could be stored and the beginnings of a directory browser. Support for NM, US, and CT modalities was greatly improved.

Siemens Medical Systems - ACOM.PC 2.0

This version added a more robust network solution which integrates with our flagship ACOM.net product. A separate directory browser and image viewer had been introduced with this version. Numerous improvements had been made since 1.5.
