Above is a Java applet. Steven Bytnar and I used this as a java testbed to implement cool, scrolling, sinusoidal text.

A little about myself...

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in the College of Engineering and received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering.

Check out my (Updated January 2005) online resume or download the Microsoft Word file.

I work at WMS Gaming as a Senior Technical Lead Engineer, developing embedded software for domestic and international video slot machines.

I worked fulltime at Auvo Technologies, a next-generation wireless solution provider. Our efforts produced a multimodal client-server APIs and developed a multimodal (text & voice) chat/collaboration application.
Auvo closed operations on September 7, 2001 due to lack of funding in this recessional market and depressed outlook for any Technology sector.

When I am at home, you can find me in Chicago, IL.

Between January '96 to '98, I spent 11 of those months working with Siemens Medical Systems. There, I was involved in the full software development cycle of a commercial medical image viewer for Windows called ACOM.PC. Often, you would have found me coding with Visual C++ for ACOM.PC 1.0 through 2.0. I returned to work fulltime after graduation on the continuing development of ACOM.PC through version 3.0.

With whatever time I have left... who am I kidding. :-)

[X] There has to be more to it than just that!
